"Aut, Colleen" is the endearing nickname my parents inadvertently gave me and continue use. Saying my sister Autumn's name is a knee jerk reaction but they quickly recover and hope I don't notice. Funny thing is that I really don't anymore. When they start saying "Tim, Colleen" well, then we have a problem.

Just another sign of the tough financial times. Some folks are pawning family jewels to afford gas so that they can get to work. Others are e-auctioning tables to afford clothes. (I was going to use the family jewels reference as some sort of double entendre, but I haven't had enough coffee on a Monday morning yet for that one. Nobody likes a limp, flaccid pun.)
