My brothers and I have taken on the lifelong goal of placing our dad and/or step-mom in awkward or uncomfortable situations. In this spirit, I gave my brother an 8 hour David Sedaris cd set including Dress your Family in Corduroy and Denim and other recordings to entertain him and my dad when they drive some furniture down to ATL this weekend. Mike and I are both Sedaris fans, and think these particular cds are hysterical. I'll let you know if my dad laughs or turns red (my bets on the latter) when he gets to the part about Rooster describing the 'tubes coming out her pussy' after his wife gives birth.
Wait, I thought Joseph Fox Bookshop was made up for that Dabney Coleman movie.
Also, is that what David Sedaris looks like? I guess I've never seen him before.

I have to admit that I have no idea who David Sedaris is. Is he related to Amy Sedaris?
